TEACHING EXPERIENCE

From 1973 through 1985, Dr. William Lowry taught toxicology lectures to medical students at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and graduate courses in Occupational Toxicology and Biochemical Toxicology at the University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. In addition, Dr. Lowry taught toxicology to Pathology Residents on a one-to-one basis for individuals selecting to study Forensic Medicine.

From 1976 through 1980, Dr. Lowry taught Biochemical Toxicology at Texas A&M University - Commerce, Commerce, Texas as an Adjunct Associate Professor through the Department of Chemistry.

 




In 1982, Dr. Lowry was appointed as Adjunct Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, University of Texas at Arlington, Arlington, Texas where he taught two graduate courses, Environmental and Occupational Toxicology and Environmental and Occupational Risk Assessment. He remained in this position until May, 1997.

In 2000, he was appointed Lecturer in the Program of Environmental Science and Engineering, Department of Biology at the University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, Texas.

Today, Dr. Lowry continues in private practice as well as teaching two graduate courses in Arlington.
